Field Trip to Srindhorn Dinosaur Museum & Excavation Site,Kalasin.
Tuesday 25th February 2019. Grade 6 Field Trip to Srindhorn Dinosaur Museum & Excavation Site,Kalasin. Today Grade 6 students were accompanied by Principal Fon and teachers Su, Gary, Mike and Vince to the above museum. The purpose of the trip was to learn more about some of the different topics which were learned in the classroom during Social Studies and Science classes. Active learning is very important to our school philosophy so the students also visited an excavation site containing fossilised Sauropods. This helped them to gain a better understanding of how archaeologists carry out their work and to see which dinosaurs were roaming around the Kalasin area all those millions of years ago. The students also consolidated work on Rock Formations,The Solar System and The Earth's Layers during the trip. As you can see from the photos everybody had a great time and learned many new things
